Enraged Bieber fans target rival online after Grammys upset

Los Angeles - Enraged fans of teen heart-throb Justin Bieber are targeting the online presence of Esparanza Spalding, the jazz musician who stunned the Grammys Sunday night by beating Bieber for the Best New Artist trophy.
The Wikipedia page of the little-known musician was defaced on repeated occasionson Sunday, though it was back to normal Monday. Fans of Bieber changed her middle name to Justin and Quesadilla, though that was mild compared to some of the other content they inserted on the page.
'SHE IS F****** REATARD (sic) THAT NO ONE HAS HEARD OF SO B**** PLEASE DIE! ' read one venomous comment.
'JUSTIN BIEBER DESERVED IT GO DIE IN A HOLE. WHO THE HECK ARE YOU ANYWAY?,' read another.
Bieber fans also vilified the Afro-haired sensation on Twitter.
'Who the hell is Esperanza Spalding? -.-. u dont deserve that award b****,' said one typical post from an account called @EspeSpalding sucks.
Comedian Andy Borowitz took a humourous approach to the controversy. 'Esperanza Spalding said she was surprised she won Best New Artist 'because I'd never heard of me,'' he tweeted.
