Jamey Johnson’s ‘The Guitar Song’ debuts at No. 1

Country musician Jamey Johnson’s new studio double-album ‘The Guitar Song’ had a No. 1 debut on Billboard’s Country Albums Chart and a No. 4 debut on Billboard’s 200 Chart. The success marked the highest debut of Johnson’s career.
In a press release, Johnson stated: “My dream already came true. All I ever wanted was just to get to ride around and sing country music.”
‘The Guitar Song’ is the follow-up to Johnson’s Grammy-nominated and critically acclaimed ‘That Lonesome Song’ album and features 25 tracks separated into two disc “Black” and “White.” The album has received rave reviews, and has even been called one of the best country albums of the year.
Johnson will perform at the famed House of Blues on Los Angeles’ Sunset Strip on Tuesday, Sept. 28th.
