Ozzy looks to June for ‘Scream’

Scream is Ozzy Osbourne\'s first album in three years and 10th studio album overall. Metal icon Ozzy Osbourne is set to release his new studio album ‘Scream’ on June 22nd through Epic Records, and is giving fans a chance to download the album with the purchase of a ticket for this year’s OZZFest.
‘Scream’ is Ozzy’s first studio album in three years and is his 10th solo studio album. It features the first single “Let Me Hear You Scream” – which is already on the Top Five (#5) on the Mainstream Rock Chart and Top Ten (#9) on the Active Rock chart. The single had its world premiere during a prison riot scene on the hit CBS television series "CSI: NY."
‘Scream’ was produced by Ozzy and Kevin Churko (who worked with Ozzy on 2007’s ‘Black Rain.’ Most of the album was recorded at his Los Angeles home studio, The Bunker. Ozzy also co-wrote all the songs, primarily with Churko.
The album also marks the first appearance of Ozzy's new guitar player, Gus G. Ozzy’s band also features bassist Blasko, drummer Tommy Clufetos and keyboardist Adam Wakeman.
Ozzy is expected to hit the road for an 18-month world tour (dates TBA) in support of ‘Scream.’
Fans who purchase tickets to OZZFest at LiveNation.com through June 18th will receive an email with one unique download link per ticket for Ozzy's new album, ‘Scream’ on June 21st, the day before the album is available in stores.
OZZFest marks the first concerts in the U.S. in connection with the June 22 release of ‘Scream.’
