Country singer Terri Clark plans ‘unplugged’ tour

Country singer Terri Clark as has announced plans for her “Unplugged & Alone” tour which will see the singer crisscrossing North America from February through September. The tour kicks off on Feb. 18th at the 8 Seconds Saloon in Indianapolis, IN.

The tour is in support of Clark’s new studio album ‘The Long Way Home’ – which is described as a record that captures the tides of adult lives, great passions and the struggles that mark our journey.
 
In a press release, Clark stated: “You know I’ve put on a lot of miles literally – and in terms of all that’s happened in my life. The more I was looking at what I was doing, the more I thought: let’s do something really novel, let’s tell each other the truth.”

Clark was born in Montreal and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. She signed with Mercury Records and reached No. 3 in 1995 with her first single, "Better Things to Do."

Clark’s has enjoyed a string of hit singles – such as "When Boy Meets Girl," "If I Were You," "Emotional Girl," "Now That I Found You" and a remake of "Poor Poor Pitiful Me." Clark hit No. 1 in 1998 with "You're Easy on the Eyes" and again in 2004 with "Girls Lie Too."
