In honor of the late Johnny Cash's posthumous album due out February 26, 2010, the new rewards website PrizeFrog.com has collaborated with JohnnyCash.com for a special promotion.

Johnny Cash’s "American VI: Ain’t No Grave," featuring the final recordings the Man in Black ever made before his death in September 2003, will be released via American Recordings and Lost Highway on February 26th, the day that would have marked Cash’s 78th birthday.

The website PrizeFrog.com is offering one authentic autographed Johnny Cash serigraph, titled "Flight."

For years, Johnny Cash sketched and eventually painted. He held on to them, not thinking they were worthy of a formal showing.

In 1993 Mr. Cash showed his friend Bill Miller a painting he did, called "Flight."

Miller urged Cash to publish the abstract impressionist work and present it to collectors the world over. He was given permission by Johnny to publish "Flight" and offer it to collectors.

"Flight" was the only Cash painting ever published.

"Flight" was published as a high quality, hand-pulled serigraph. Crafted onto the finest art paper in the world, heavy Arches 100% Cotton stock, each color has been hand-pulled by using a screen process resulting in a print as close to the original as possible. The prints have never seen a printing press; rather every one was made by hand, each taking hours to complete.

PrizeFrog.com is offering one (350 total were made) 30 x 40 inch serigraph hand-signed by Johnny Cash, and each bears a unique number indicating its number of the limited edition.

The website offers registered users free of charge opportunities to earn points and enter a variety of contests and games that net a wide assortment of cash and merchandise prizing.

In conjunction with JohnnyCash.com, PrizeFrog.com is also streaming the single from the album, "Ain't No Grave" free of charge for registered users (there is no cost to register).

It was also recently revealed that Mr. Cash was a proud Scotsman, and traveled to Fife and investigated his lineage, tracing his roots back

The DailyRecord.co.uk reporter Kurt Bayer posted an amusing piece on Feb. 8 that shared Mr. Cash was 'obsessed' with his family's Scottish roots when he learned he was a distant relative of King Malcolm IV of Scotland.

Mr. Cash discovered his clan originated in the Strathmiglo area of Fife.

Cash found out about his Scottish roots after he sat next to Major Michael Crichton-Stuart, keeper of Falkland Palace, on a flight to America in the 1970s.

According to Bayer's report, Mr. Cash visited a genealogist and discovered that he was of Scottish descent and his connection was traced back to when the niece of Malcolm IV (1153-65) - who was named Cash or Cashel - married the Earl of Fife.

For fans of his music and those curious to hear the single, you must be logged in to PrizeFrog.com to access their content.
