Susan Boyle's 'I Dreamed A Dream' held the No. 1 spot on Billboards 200 for a second consecutive week and the Columbia Records album has become the fastest selling debut album over a 2-week period after release.

Boyle’s release earned the highest second week sales of 2009 with more than 527,000 copies sold this week. It has also seen more than two million copies shipped to retailers since its release.

The album held the No.1 ranking again on the charts this week in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Ireland, Canada and Japan. It made its debut in the charts last week achieving the highest first week sales of 2009 as well as the largest ever debut for a female artist on the Billboard 200 in the Soundscan era with 701,000 copies sold in the U.S and over 5 million copies worldwide.

Boyle has also announced plans for an original one-hour television special, “I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story,” exclusively on TV Guide Network that will air on Sunday, December 13 at 9:00 p.m. on ITV1 in the UK, followed by the exclusive North American premiere on TV Guide Network at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

The show will celebrate Boyle’s journey from a small village in rural Scotland to international fame and fan-fare. After an audition for "Britain's Got Talent", in which Susan immediately impressed the judges, the audience and then anyone with access to Youtube's expectations by dazzling her way through a version of "'I Dreamed A Dream' " from Les Miserables.  A tornado of rumination and amazement grew around Susan Boyle feverishly, with over 300 Million YouTube hits and nearly two million Facebook friends to prove it.

Boyle recorded the album during the summer of 2009 at a studio in Edinburgh. The albums tracks are songs that resonated with her.

In a press release, she stated: "It was important that I could feel everything I was singing.”

The 12 track album features Boyle performing signature songs such as "I Dreamed A Dream", "Cry Me A River," as well as her haunting rendition of The Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses," Madonna's "You'll See," The Monkees' "Daydream Believer," and "Who I Was Born To Be," an original recording written especially for her.
