Train has announced plans to hit the road for a tour in support of their new studio album ‘Save Me, San Francisco’ – which hits stores on October 27th. The 25-city tour will kick off on Oct. 20th in Seattle, Wa., and see the band on the road through December 11th. Uncle Kracker has signed on as the tour’s opening act.
Train is also scheduled to lend support to find a cure for Muscular Dystrophy by performing on the Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon on Labor Day, September 7th. ‘Save Me, San Francisco’ (Train’s fifth studio album) features the new summer anthem, “Hey, Soul Sister” – which is available for purchase on iTunes. The album is described as featuring the band’s sound from the early days in the mid-‘90s, when they first formed in the city by the bay.
Train features vocalist Pat Monahan, guitarist Jimmy Stafford and drummer Scott Underwood.
