Sugarland ready for the holidays with new Christmas album

Riding high on the release of their chart-topping CD/DVD release ‘Live on the Inside,’ country music duo Sugarland is getting in the holiday mood with the October 6th release of their new album ‘Gold and Green.’

The 10-track holiday features five original songs co-written by Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush. It also features several Christmas classics – such as “Holly Jolly Christmas,” and “Silent Night.”

With the purchase of ‘Gold and Green,’ fans will also be able to access exclusive content such as downloads and the chance to enter special sweepstakes.

As Sugarland, Nettles and Bush have sold more than 8 million records since exploding onto the music scene in ‘04 with ‘Twice The Speed Of Life’ – which included the hit single “Baby Girl”

Sugarland is credited with co-writing all tracks from all three albums and co-producing the last two. As a thank you to their loyal fans, in Aug. ’09 the duo released ‘Live On The Inside’ - a CD/DVD set of live tracks, covers and footage from their tour. They’ve performed in six European countries and are now headlining a U.S. tour that runs thru the fall.

They’ve received trophies from the Grammy’s, American Music Awards, Academy of Country Music, CMT Music Awards and the Country Music Association.

Nettles was recently chosen to perform for the Obama Presidential celebration, as well as the duo for Oprah.  In August, ABC aired an hour-long network special featuring the duo in their most beloved setting...on stage.
