Metro Station has signed on to open for Miley Cyrus during her 43-city North American arena tour – which kicks off Sept. 14th in PortlandThe ten-week arena run – launching September 14 in Portland.

The tour will keep the band on the road with Cyrus through December 2, in Miami, and marks the first time that Cyrus will tour with her brother Trace, who sings and plays guitar in Metro Station. Along with Trace Cyrus, Metro Station features Mason Musso (vocals, guitar), Blake Healy (keyboards, synth) and Anthony Improgo (percussion). The band is currently wrapping up a two week tour of Japan, and later this month plan to return to Europe for three weeks of dates.
In May, the band finished up its most extensive domestic run to date - providing support on Fall Out Boy’s “Believers Never Die” tour. Metro Station also just put the finishing touches on the video for the band’s new single “Kelsey.” The video features Aimee Teegarden from the NBC series “Friday Night Lights,” and is scheduled to premiere later this summer.
