Country music icon George Jones has scheduled a mini-festival that will serve as a way to introduce Country Crossing to the public. The first-ever ‘Jones Jam’ will take place on Saturday, March 21st at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds.
The free concert event will start at 2 p.m. (gates will open at noon), and will feature performances from George Jones, Clint Black, Lee Greenwood, Aaron Tippin and more. It will also serve as the official groundbreaking of Country Crossing in Dothan, AL and to build awareness for the megaplex. The Country Crossing family also includes John Anderson, Clint Black, Tracy Lawrence, Lorrie Morgan, Aaron Tippin and Darryl Worley
The festival was organized by Ronnie Gilley to assert the caliber of entertainment who will regularly appear at Country Crossing - which will be an unprecedented, master-planned resort and entertainment facility located in Dothan. The singer’s Possum Holler Bed and Breakfast has already broke ground and is scheduled to be complete late summer.
