All Rock Band fans will get their chance to join the Beatles on September 9th as "The Beatles: Rock Band" hits store shelves in North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and other territories. Cover art to The Beatles' With the Beatles album.The new Beatles edition of the hit video game Rock Band marks the first time Apple Corps, along with EMI Music, Harrisongs Ltd, and Sony/ATV Music Publishing, has allowed music from The Beatles be used in an interactive video game format. The game is described as an “unprecedented, experiential progression through and celebration of the music and artistry of The Beatles.” It will be offered as a standalone software and hardware and also be available as a limited edition bundle. It is compatible with all Rock Band instrument controllers.The Beatles: Rock Band lets music fans pick up the guitar, bass, mic or drums and take on The Beatles’ catalogue of music. It is designed to take players through the evolution of the band's iconic career. The Beatles: Rock Band will offer new hardware modeled on the instruments used by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr throughout their career.
