Springsteen and U2 to rock Glasgow's Hampden Park

Hot on the heels of the announcement Bruce Springsteen would play Glastonbury and Hyde Park, the rock icon will now apparently play an outdoor summer concert at Glasgow's Hampden Park. Bruce Springsteen plans to rock Scotland this summer. EPA/TANNEN MAURYThe Glasgow Sunday Mail has reported Springsteen will perform at the Scottish stadium on July 14th. It will be the first time Springsteen and the E Street Band have played in Scotland in 28 years. The singer has only performed in the country five times during his music career.His arrival at Hampden Park has also sparked rumors he might show up at the T In The Park festival that will be held the weekend before.U2, who just released their latest studio album ‘No Line On The Horizon,’ will play Hampden Park on August 18th. The performance could be part of a larger UK tour, but not official announcement has been made.
