Blink-182 ex drummer Travis Barker and celebrity spinner DJ AM will perform together for the first time since their flight that claimed four lives in South Carolina.
The two will headline a Los Angeles New Year’s Nation New Year's Eve Party at The Lot in West Hollywood.
New Year’s Nation is the only event of its kind, connecting thousands of people in multiple cities on the biggest night of the year. On New Year’s Eve 2009, more than 15,000 guests in 10 cities will join the New Year’s Nation celebration as thousands more join the party on-line with NYN-TV, New Year’s Nation’s live broadcast.
New Year’s Nation’s live broadcast makes it possible for partygoers in multiple time zones and viewers at home to celebrate the new year every time the clock strikes midnight.
On-line viewers can also watch the main broadcast (at newyearsnation.com) or click on the city of their choice to view a specific feed.
The 2009 cities participating are Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Portland and Seattle.
"I'm ready to get back on stage with AM and continue to rock the house," Barker said in a statement. "I'm very excited to bring in the New Year in my hometown of L.A."
Their stage performance will be streamed on the Internet and shown at other New Year's Nation parties across the U.S. It will mark the first post-crash concert for TRVSDJAM (their group name).
