Madonna has proven she is still a force in music with her current Sticky and Sweet tour set to become the biggest-selling tour by a solo artist.
When the tour finishes in Brazil this month, it is estimated Madonna will have earned a grand total of £185.7 million in ticket sales. She already held the record with her £127 million earning Confessions tour in 2006.
The singer earned an estimated £60.5 million during the North American leg of the tour, and sold an estimated 550,000 tickets during the tour’s 28 shows.
The Sticky and Sweet tour is scheduled to finish up its run in Sao Paulo with a three night performance (Dec. 18-21).
