Janet Jackson's ailing, cancels more tour dates

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that a message on the Turning Stone Resort's Web site stated the show had been canceled on the advice of her doctor. Now word has spread of more postponed shows, including Thursday's at Madison Square Garden in New York.On her first North American tour in seven years, Jackson was booked in Montréal when she was rushed to a hospital before a concert in late September.
