I watch 'Sons of Anarchy' every week and then i watch it again the second time after that just to make sure that I did not miss anything! I do not watch a lot of tv, but I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!

The song used in the promo for FX's Sons Of Anarchy is 'The Dream We Left Behind', performed by LA band Pedestrian, produced and co-written by PrimalScream Music, a music company in Los Angeles, CA.

This week's episode had another song when Jax took Tara home and I am pretty sure that it was also done by Dave. It has the same kind of bluesy, southern rock feel. I would love to get me hands on an entire playlist of his music. Anyone have any suggestions?

the song: 'The Dream We Left Behind' produced by primalscream is not the intro song that everyoen is looking for. The one everyone is looking for has a country/outlaw type feel, something Hank Jr would have done.

I LOVE THIS SHOW.!!!!!!

It doesn't hurt that the cast is SMOKIN' HOTT!!! The theme song is off the charts. They face topics that no other network is brave enough to confront.

I feel like I'm doing something wrong when I miss an episode.

The Dream We Left Behind is NOT the theme song to the Sons Of Anarchy, No one knows who sings it or wat its called. I would have to agree with the previous commenters....it sounds like Hank jr,southern rock, or i would say The Black Keys.

Its NOT THE SONG everyone is searching for...!!!!

no one likes the promo music just the opening song which is one of the best ever and the other song they did in the series finale. they need to release that song onto itunes or something and get tabs because it is definitly in demand

John the revelator was done by 'government mule'(allman brothers guitarist's band) and sounds like someone else covered it.

John the Revelator is an old blues/gospel standard covered most recently by depeche mode and gov mule. The version on the show (and it's theme song) are done by Curtis Stigers according to sutterink.com. Neither is available for download but they are mulling over the idea of a soundtrack...

From what i have read and understand the theme song is just that a theme song that was specifically written for the show 'SONS OF ANARCHY' and from what i understand also most of the revised and redon and new songs are done specifically for the show only, so it seems unless the show gets even more popular and they decide to make a sound track then the songs will only be able to be heard on the show its self, i must say that it is a dissapointment to me also as i would like to know the name of the song and who sings it so i can add it to my playlist also because its a awsome song' SIGH' guess we will have to wait and see what the outcome is!!!!!
