The Killers once performed karaoke with Mike Tyson.
The band's drummer Ronnie Vannucci, Jr. has revealed how their unlikely friendship with the former boxer - who joined them for an acceptance speech video at this year's NME awards - came about.
Ronnie said: "We first met him in the Asian quarter of Las Vegas. We were all hoarding the karaoke space. Then in walks Mike Tyson.
"You could just tell he was up for a bit of karaoke. He just had that look in his eyes, you know? So it was kind of love at first sight.
"Me and Mike did 'I Wanna Dance with Somebody' by Whitney Houston and then afterwards we shared a plate of Asian delicacies. All of that is true!"
The Killers are set to play festivals in the UK's Reading and Leeds this summer, and Ronnie hasn't ruled out the possibility of Mike joining them.
He added: "He might join us on stage. But he is a little short these days - so we might need to lower the microphone a bit.
"A duet on Joy Division's 'Shadowplay' would be cool. He brought up doing 'I Wanna Dance with Somebody' but I don't think it'd work with our band."
