Jakob Dylan is releasing his first solo record, ‘Seeing Things,’ on June 10th on Columbia Records, and will hit the road in support of the release.
The album is described as a distinct new direction for the singer/songwriter. With the album release, Dylan is stepping out from the established sounds of The Wallflowers, and created a new sound that has stripped back the production.
The result is a “powerful, unblinking” album influenced by the timeless honesty of American roots music. Calling to mind Ryan Adams or The Jayhawks, Jakob Dylan has found a new and impressive avenue for his music, and is headed out on a complete North American tour this summer including appearances at Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits Fans can get a preview of the album by checking out an exclusive Yahoo!
