The Police will play their final show in the US.
The veteran rock band, founded by Sting, have announced they will perform for the last time in New York, 30 years after their first ever US concert in 1978.
The band, which also includes Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland, originally split up in 1984 but reunited last year for a series of 30th anniversary shows.
The date and venue for the special performance have yet to be confirmed.
Proceeds from the concert will be donated to help future arts programming in the city.
The band will also give £500,000 to a scheme which aims to plant one million trees in New York by 2017.
Frontman Sting is hosting and performing in a concert tomorrow night (08.05.08) at New York's Carnegie hall to raise money for charity Rainforest Foundation, which he set up with wife Trudie Styler 20 years ago.
