Robbie Williams has split from his songwriting partner Guy Chambers again.
The 'Rudebox' singer had a dramatic bust-up with Guy after he discovered he was working with his archrival and former Take That bandmate Gary Barlow.
Robbie worked with Guy on his first five hit studio albums before they bitterly parted company in 2002 after the pop star signed a new £80 million deal with EMI.
A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Robbie and Guy patched up their differences last year. They had been back in the studio trying to find the spark that produced Rob's best material.
"They gave it a go but it didn't work out - they had both moved on. But while they were working together in Los Angeles, Guy was asked to work as part of a team with Gary on a new TV show.
"He never mentioned it to Robbie. Rob heard Gary was in Los Angeles working and found out it was with Guy. He wasn't best pleased when he heard."
Guy - who Robbie asked to work with again after his 2006 album 'Rudebox' was widely panned - has teamed up with Gary and his fellow Take That singer Mark Owen to work on new ITV musical drama 'Britannia High'.
'Strictly Come Dancing' judge Arlene Philips is also involved with the new project, which will follow a group of super-talented students at a performing arts school.
Viewers will watch the real-life casting of the actors before the scripted drama begins and concludes with a live final and the release of a single.
Guy co-wrote many of Robbie's biggest hits including 'Angels', 'Millennium' and 'Let Me Entertain You'.
