Jay-Z looks set to headline this year's Glastonbury Festival.
The '99 Problems' rapper is now the hot favourite to top the bill of the world famous music event after organiser Michael Eavis revealed his "black American headliner" hails from Jay-Z's hometown of New York.
Eavis said: "If you want me to narrow it down for you a bit more I can reveal that the headline act is a big American artist from New York."
Although Jay-Z - who has previously dubbed himself the 'King of New York' - is the frontrunner for one of the weekend's headline slots, big names 50 Cent and Alicia Keys also hail from the Big Apple.
Eavis' latest cryptic statement rules out Kanye West, who hails from Chicago and Houston-born Beyoncé Knowles.
Other acts rumoured to join the trio of headliners at this year's Glastonbury - which runs from June 27-29 - include Led Zeppelin, Kylie Minogue, Coldplay and Radiohead.
Eavis said of Kylie - who was set to headline the 2005 festival but was forced to pull out after she was diagnosed with breast cancer: "I'd love to see Kylie Minogue perform on the last night.
"Kylie sums up everything Glastonbury is about. She's glamorous and theatrical. I see dancers, lights, feathers - almost like a circus show."

Festivals can be a daunting experience for first-timers. The One Louder Festivals survival guide should help you...
Choose a good pitch - preferably away from the toilets
Test run putting your new tent up before you go as putting it up in the dark won’t be much fun, if it’s the first time.
don't wear your smart designer clothes - they'll get trashed at a festival.
Nobody likes a cold beer - take only what you mind drinking warm.
Don't take valuables to festivals - apart from the risk of them getting stolen or damaged or covered in mud, do you really need to take your ipod?
Make friends with those camping around you - that way people tend to keep an eye out for each other - for example it's easier to spot a 'stranger' going into someone's tent. Plus you'll have a much better time if you socialise rather than keeping yourself to yourself - this is what festivals are all about!
…..If you’re getting on famously, remember to practise safe sex!
If you put a padlock on your tent, you might as well have a banner on it as well that says 'there's something in here worth nicking'.
The toilets at festivals are notoriously unpleasant, it's just something you'll have to put up with. Take baby wipes, and keep your loo roll in a waterproof plastic bag.
Smile, and have a good time!
