If touring with Miley Cyrus wasn't enough, her opening act Jonas Brothers are now swimming in a sea of dough.
Live Nation has inked a HUGE two-year, multi-million dollar worldwide touring deal with the Hollywood Records pop act Jonas Brothers.
The deal, billed as the first of its kind for an up-and-coming act, is expected to result in more than 140 theater and arena dates during the span of the agreement.
Billboard reports that the first leg of "Look Me in the Eyes" tour dates, named for the band's current single, will begin Jan. 31 in Tucson, Ariz., at the TCC Music Hall. Tickets go on sale Jan. 12.
Jonas Brothers spent last fall on the wildly successful Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds tour.
By summertime, the band's profile should be significantly higher. The brothers have made two appearances on the "Hannah Montana" show, but their own Disney series and a Disney movie ("Camp Rock") are expected to break next summer.
"We haven't really started the Disney assault yet," Wright tells Billboard.com. Summer will likely also bring a new studio album, portions of which were recorded in a mobile studio sponsored by Gibson.
Here are the Jonas Brothers' initial tour dates:
Jan. 31: Tucson, Ariz. (TCC Music Hall)
Feb. 1: Las Vegas (Planet Hollywood)
Feb. 2: Los Angeles (Gibson Amphitheatre)
Feb. 5: Everett, Wash. (Events Center)
Feb. 6: Portland, Ore. (Schnitzer Hall)
Feb. 8: Salt Lake City (E Center)
Feb. 11: El Paso, Texas (Abraham Chavez Theatre)
Feb. 12: San Antonio (San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo)
