Kylie Minogue's BRIT honour

Kylie Minogue will top the bill at next year's BRIT Awards and receive the Outstanding Contribution to Music prize.
The petite singer - who is already planning her 'show-stopping' performance, masterminded by her stylist William Baker - was "unanimously" chosen to receive the award at the London ceremony on February 20.
A source told Britain's The People newspaper: "It was a pretty unanimous decision. Kylie is one of everyone's favourite artists and has repeatedly held her own in the charts in three decades.
"She has also provided inspiration to people outside music as one of the bravest and most personable people in pop."
Kylie - who made her pop comeback after being given the all-clear from breast cancer - will follow in the footsteps of Oasis, Duran Duran, Tom Jones, Paul Weller and Sir Bob Geldof who have all previously been honoured with the prestigious accolade.
The BRITs, which take place at London's Earls Court, will be hosted by Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne.
Kylie's new album 'X' entered the UK charts at number four yesterday (02.12.07).
