Country music queen Reba McEntire has announced plans to hit the road with “American Idol” Kelly Clarkson in 2008. The two scored a hit for McEntire with their duet "Because of You” – a “country” cover of Clarkson’s pop hit.

McEntire and Clarkson have named the outing the "2 Worlds 2 Voices Tour," and will kick it off Jan. 17th in Ohio. The tour will see stops in 15 cities - all of which are located in the South and Midwest.

Fans of both singers can plan on seeing the two share the stage for a couple of songs (including “Because of You” which appears on Reba’s ‘Reba Duets’ album) and a short wait between individual sets. Both singers are scheduled to use the same backing band to help cut down on the time between sets.

Before she hits the road with Reba, Clarkson will finish up her current tour – which still has stops on the West Coast and will wrap up Dec. 3 in Nashville.
