Ozzy Osbourne has announced that he will donate all of his net profits - inclusive of ticket sales and merchandise - from his headlining show Friday, November 30 at Staples Center in Los Angeles to The Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program.

In addition, 50 cents from every ticket sold will go to the cause, which is very close to the Osbournes. The program was founded by Sharon Osbourne - his wife and manager - after her own public battle with colon cancer, and works to improve the lives of patients and their loved ones by providing at-home help, childcare, transportation, access to support groups and patient care services offered within Cedars-Sinai Medical Center - the hospital where she was treated.
Colon cancer affects both men and women and is the third most common form of cancer and the second leading cause of cancer-related death in the Western world. Information tables will be set up at the Staples Center show for concertgoers who want to learn more about colon cancer and the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program.
Promoted by AEG Live, the date marks Ozzy's first headlining arena show in Los Angeles in almost six years. It is part of his massive 40-show North American fall tour in support of ‘Black Rain,’ his critically acclaimed first album of new studio material in six years.
Hailed as a "genuinely blinding comeback'' in a four-K review in Kerrang! (5/19/07) and "the best set of songs he's conjured since 1991's No More Tears" according to a rave Mojo review (June), ‘Black Rain’ finds the two-time Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee as vital, creative and evocative as ever.
First single "I Don't Wanna Stop" is Ozzy's biggest rock song of his career, spending 20 weeks at #1 on the R&R Rock Chart and peaking at #1 on the R&R Active Rock chart. The song is also the lead track from EA's Madden NFL '08. His second single, currently at radio, is the powerful manifesto "Not Going Away."
‘Black Rain’ was released in May and entered the Billboard pop albums chart at #3 with over 150,000 copies sold the first week. Internationally, the album-which Ozzy co-produced with Kevin Churko--has debuted in the Top Ten on the album charts in 10 other countries: #2 (Norway), #2 (Finland), #2 (Sweden), #5 (Canada), #5 (Czech Republic), #6 (Japan), #6 (Denmark), #7 (Austria), # 8 (UK), # 9 (Germany) and #10 (New Zealand). Overall, Ozzy has sold over 100 million albums combined as both a member of Black Sabbath and as a solo artist.

That is very genourous of Ozzy and that is a nice thing to do. Even if it's a very little help you give it will help, they say every little bit helps. I give money to charitys myself. I give money to the... NSSPC Breast cancer Luekimea And the RSPCA. I enjoy helping people.
