Amy Winehouse "stumbled and staggered" through her German comeback show last night (15.10.07).

The troubled singer - who has built up a reputation for cancelling concerts at the last minute - performed at Berlin's Tempodrom arena and got off to a bad start when she forgot the words to her two opening songs.

One disgruntled fan said: "I've been looking forward to this show for weeks because I love Amy, and I had hoped she would be able to pull it together, but obviously she couldn't.

"She looked really uncomfortable on stage - twitching, coughing and rubbing her face the whole way through. She's such a talented girl, if only she'd get rid of the drinks and drugs."

However, the British star did compose herself later in her set and delivered fantastic renditions of 'Back to Black' and 'You Know I'm No Good'.

Amy arrived in Germany without husband Blake Fielder-Civil following an explosive argument in London at the weekend.

It was unclear whether her wild spouse would join her for the start of the tour, but flew into the German capital yesterday, much to the displeasure of Amy's tour team.

An insider said: "We had hoped Blake wouldn't come but he has.

It is Amy's decision to have him with her, I guess for now we just have to deal with it."

Amy's next show will be in Paris' Le Olympia music hall on October 29, followed by another 25 concerts, ending at Manchester's Apollo arena on December 13.
