Led Zepplin fans will have one more thing to be thankful for in November. The band has announced a Zepplin catalog of music will be available online starting November 13th.
After years of holding out, Jimmy Page announced the band would take its music online – which he said would help fans have an easier time getting the music they want.
Warner Music Group CEO, Edgar Bronfman, Jr., stated: "The Led Zeppelin catalog is a highly anticipated and essential addition to the world's leading digital music services.”
He added: “In their 12 years together, Zeppelin created one of the most powerful, influential, and timeless bodies of work in the history of modern music. They not only enjoyed enormous commercial success, but their ground-breaking musical innovation transformed the cultural landscape. We have been planning for this landmark day for a long time, and we look forward to expanding Led Zeppelin's presence across a full array of digital platforms."
Fans can look forward to finding digital releases for ‘Led Zeppelin,’ ‘Led Zeppelin II,’ ‘Led Zeppelin III,’ ‘Led Zeppelin IV,’ ‘Houses Of The Holy,’ ‘Physical Graffiti,’ ‘Presence,’ ‘The Song Remains The Same (due November 20),’ ‘In Through The Out Door,’ ‘Coda,’ ‘How The West Was Won’ and ‘Mothership’ - the new collection of hits.
Led Zeppelin has also announced plans to reunite on November 26 in London for a one-time concert in honor of the memory of Atlantic Records co-founder Ahmet Ertegun. Tickets for the concert are expected to sell-out fast.
