R&B singer R. Kelly has announced plans for a U.S. tour that will launch in Columbus, Ga., on Nov. 14th. The singer will be joined by Keyshia Cole, Ne-Yo and J.Holiday.
Kelly’s tour will be in support of his new album ‘Double Up’ and is tentatively scheduled to include stops in Atlanta, Dallas, Washington, Houston, Las Vegas, New Orleans, and Philadelphia. There are also dates planned for Baltimore, Chicago, St. Louis, Newark, N.J., and Oakland, Calif.
Due to his legal difficulty (which includes a child pornography charge), Kelly has had to request permission from the court to be allowed to travel on the tour. He has received permission in the past for other tours. His trial in Chicago was postponed in September and a new start date has yet to be set.
