Other nominees include Donna Summer and Chic, raper Afrika Bambaataa, Leonard Cohen, The Dave Clark Five, and The Ventures.
There are more than 500 musicians, industry professionals and journalists who will be voting on which acts make it into the Hall of Fame, and the top five names will be inducted into the Hall at the annual ceremony March 10, 2008, at New York's Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
