Adult Swim, Cartoon Network's highly rated late-night programming block for young adults, announced a 12-stop college tour beginning October 1 with Ghosface Killah and Witchdoctor.
This marks Adult Swim Presents', a series of live entertainment performances, premiere event. Adding fuel to the fire, the college tour comes just in time to support the release of Witchdoctor's new album, The Diary of an American Witchdoctor, due out on October 23, courtesy of Adult Swim's Williams Street record label.
Headlining the tour will be the musical styling of Def Jam's Ghostface Killah. Perhaps best know for his contributions to the Wu-Tang Clan, Ghostface Killah has continued on with his solo career while releasing six influential hip-hop records.
Warming up the crowd will be Atlanta's own Witchdoctor. Coming from the Dungeon Family collective with artists like OutKast, Organized Noize and Killer Mike, Witchdoctor has made a name for himself by standing out with his spiritual lyrics while blending soul, rap, and rhythm and blues.
"Williams Street records and Adult Swim have really opened doors for me to communicate directly with my fans," said Erin Johnson also known as Witchdoctor. "This is the kind of tour every artist out there wants to be a part of and I'm one of the select few to be able to offer free shows to my fans in this incredible setting."

Adult Swim (AdultSwim.com), launched in 2001, is Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.'s network offering original and acquired animated comedy and action series for young adults. Airing overnight 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Monday through Saturday and 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday (ET, PT), Adult Swim shares channel space with Cartoon Network, home to the best in original, classic and acquired programming for children and families, and is seen in 91 million U.S. homes.
