John Fogerty, whose “searing” new album ‘Revival’ is out October 2nd on Fantasy Records, will kick off a Fall tour at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on November 2nd.
Fogerty will bring with him songs from ‘Revival,’ which USA Today says “evokes the swamp pop, rockabilly stomp and guitar chomp of his Creedence Clearwater Revival heyday,” as well as classics from his deep Creedence and solo catalog. The same day ‘Revival’ hits stores; Fogerty will appear on the Late Show with David Letterman.
Many of Fogerty’s musical influences are apparent on ‘Revival,’ including the gospel influenced “River Is Waiting” and the deeply personal country flavored “Broken Down Cowboy.”
Fogerty also weighs in on the current administration with the rollicking, biting “Long Dark Night” and “I Can’t Take It No More.”
