We hear these celebrities say stupid stuff so often and they never mean it. Half of them would have to move over politics.

nothing original has been done in hip hop since P.E. 'i'm in da club, i party in your panties. bling! bling!' the whole genre is one fart joke away from third grade. and the music 'created' by these genius producers has already been used by every industrial band since the early '80s. Nas and Outkast were right.

This is exactly what i hate about pop culture these days. isnt supposed to be about making GOOD music and not about how many records sell? Maybe 50, if you actually tried to make GOOD music and not try and push as many cambells food cans as you could, u might actually have another #1.

Good riddance to boring, uninspiring, monotone rap. His beats were boring, his words were boring, his delivery was boring.

'If I ended up selling less than Kanye, I would release a new album every time Def Jam had a priority. I would release a record verses every one of their top priorities each time.'
-something a 8 year old would do.

OMG! Is hip hop finally coming to an end?! God I hope so. It was fun in the beginning but frankly it's just crap now.

If he hadn't been in the publicity battle he would have sold less. The contest was a way to sell more albums. It's so obvious but everyone still thinks that what an artist says to the media is based in reality.

Fiddy is played out like Mc. Hammer. He is done. All he has is hooks that girls can sing too. No Lyrics, No knowledge. No Props. 'Curtis'.

I think you're poor record sales are due to the fact that you are black. I don't think MTV even tries to give a black man a break. Nite, nite, crybaby.

Kanye was never battling to sell more records and never put his career on the line. He was always about the music.
50 is a baby. The drugz have scrambled his brain.

At least 50 is a man and not a little boy who cries and throws temper tantrums. Kanye is a loser, a fake and his music is not outstanding. I think he needs to be humbled somehow.

Curtis Jackson is a fake. Curtis Jackson is not a man, man keeps his word. Curtis needs to get the hint, it does not matter that the record company did not support the album the way he wanted them to. If you have a hot record, your album is going to sell. Curtis image is wack, it old, just like Master P back in the day, Curtis your time is over, support your artist and be happy that you were able to earn money. You had your time your time up. The public doesn't like you any more. Leave, Curtis for you have killed your own self.

Good for you Kanye...you talk a lotta shit, but you can back it up. Kanye's going to come through like a champion, with or without MTV at his side...just like all great artists who mess up and capitalize. Usher knocked up his side order...wrote a song about it..triple platinum. R Kelly got caught with a child...came back as the Piper with 'this is the remix to ignition..hot an fresh out the kitchen...nobody cares anymore, and he's still making millions'. I can't wait for him to release up and coming 'Doctorate', 'Fellowship', and 'Retirement'...
