Michael Jackson's radio leak
Sep 7, 2007, 11:14 GMT
Michael Jackson's alleged new song has been leaked on a US radio station.
Pittsburgh's 96.1 KISS FM is believed to have debuted the track yesterday (06.09.07).
'Mamacita' is an upbeat love song with lyrics in English and Spanish and appears to feature the singer's trademark vocals.
However, Jackson's publicist Raymone Bain, has denied the track belongs to his client, saying: "Michael Jackson has not released any new material. This appears to be a smooth criminal pulling a fast one!
"However, if someone has leaked material illegally, my client's legal team will pursue the matter."
The 'Thriller' singer has not released any new material since 'One More Chance' in 2003, but he has been spending a lot of time in the studio working on new material in recent months.
In July, rapper-and-producer Will.i.am revealed he had been working with Jackson on his comeback album, his first new studio LP for six years.
The Black Eyed Peas star said: "Man, he still sings like a bird. He could go anywhere. We have a real opportunity to do something here. It's either going to be really big or nobody's going to care. Ain't no middle ground on this one."
Will.i.am recently revealed he was shocked to be asked to work with the former 'King of Pop'.
He said: "Michael called up and I thought someone was joking. I hear, 'Hello, its Michael,' and I was like, 'Yeah right, stop playing!'
"Then he said, 'I want to congratulate you on all your success. Do you mind if I call you in a couple of days at 4pm?' Then he started ringing me every day at 4pm. So I started working on music for him on the tour bus."
