Beyoncé Knowles' Malaysian concert warning

Beyoncé Knowles has been told to tone down her forthcoming Malaysian concert.
The 'Crazy In Love' singer was asked by promoters to keep her show, which is due to take place in Kuala Lumpur in November, "family friendly" to appease Muslim critics.
Razlan Ahmad Razali, chairman of Pineapple Concerts, said: "We've informed Beyoncé's management about this issue of clothes, but it takes some of the fun out of it.
"Beyoncé won't be able to do the kind of show here that she does elsewhere. She's a fashion icon, and we know that she often wears miniskirts and clothes that expose her navel during her performances. It's a pity to restrict her, because her costumes are all tasteful and glamorous".
This is not the first time a US performer has been asked to tone down for a Malaysian show.
Last month, Gwen Stefani, who performed in front of 7,000 fans in Kuala Lumpur, chose to don a series of different flesh-covering outfits.
Her modest clothing fell in line with government rules, which stipulate female artists must be covered from their shoulders to their knees.
