It's about time.He had 7 top ten hits in a row as a solo artist which is something even Paul McCartney never did.His AllStarr band conderts have been very successful and almost every major drummer acknowledges his influence on them.

His place in the Hall of Fame should have been sealed many years ago. The most under-rated drummer in the history of rock and also is a great vocalist. George Harrison called him 'the best back-beat in the business' and if you listen to 'Pepper', 'Revolver' or 'Abbey Road' everyone would agree. His solo career has spanned decades and he puts on one hell of a show. Welcome Ringo! May your 'Starr' always shine!!!
