Rapper Foxy Brown is in trouble with the law again following a fight with her neighbor in Brooklyn. Brown reportedly turned her Blackberry into a weapon when she used it to slap her neighbor across the head.
The trouble 27-year-old Brown (whose real name is Inga Marchand) turned herself in to New York police on Wednesday and was booked on felony assault, menacing, harassment and criminal possession of a weapon. Brown was later arraigned and released on $5,000 bail.
According to police reports, Brown (who is already on probation from another assault) used her Blackberry as a weapon against her 25-year-old neighbor sometime in July. The report states the neighbor received damage to her lip, teeth, and eye from the attack. Foxy is scheduled to return to court on September 26th.
The rapper is already in the process of serving three year’s probation from an assault charge involving a fight at a nail salon.
This latest incident could put Foxy in jail, and a spokesman for the city’s Probation Department has stated the department has filed a violation of probation with the court.
If she ends up in court over the probation violation, Brown could once again face Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Melissa Jackson – who had already warned Brown to stay out of legal trouble or face a year in jail.
