Rapper Busta Rhymes is facing more legal problems. A Bronx man has filed a lawsuit against the performer claiming he was assaulted by Rhymes and his entourage after he spit on Rhymes SUV.

Roberto LeBron, 20, received a concussion and busted lip when Rhymes allegedly kicked and punched him in the head during the incident on August 12th, 2006.
Rhymes (whose real name is Trevor Smith) was arrested for the assault several days later, spent the night in jail, and was arraigned on misdemeanor counts of assault and harassment.
The rapper’s lawyer Scott Leemon has pointed out “nothing has been proven yet,” but did not elaborate. He has stated in the past the rapper should have been given a desk appearance ticket, and the arrest was an example of the NYPD targeting Rhymes - who has declined to help detectives in an investigation into the 2006 shooting death of his bodyguard Israel Ramirez.
The lawsuit has added to Rhymes’ growing legal problems – which include an assault charge from December 2006, a driving with a suspended license charge, and a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving. The rapper has pleaded innocent to all charges.
LeBron's lawsuit has asked for unspecified compensatory damages, but his lawyer has stated he'll seek punitive damages against the rapper as well.
