Etta James in stable condition at L.A. hospital

Blues singer Etta James was listed in stable condition at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Wednesday following complications from an abdominal surgery, according to information released from her manager.James, 69, is scheduled to join blues legend B.B. King and soul singer Al Green on tour in Florida. The tour is expected to begin in August, but it is unknown if James will still be able to take part.Her manager has stated James wants to join the tour, but her doctor has advised against it at this time. Fellow R&B legend Chaka Khan has stepped in to take James’ place on the tour for now.Etta James, who is a three-time Grammy winner, rose to fame in the music industry with hits like “The Wallflower” and “Good Rockin' Daddy.” She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993.

Aloha Etta James! heal well dear voice your missed, there are plenty more songs to sing. Your 'At Last' is one of the greatest songs. I sing that one to my grandbabies and think of you every time. Etta James! what a great great voice. Much Aloha to you and yours.
