The First Annual Back To School Benefit Day
August 26, 2007

The “Back To School Benefit Day” will take place at Brooklyn’s historical Von King Park (Tompkins Park), August 26, 2007. Using entertainment to bring community attention and interest, the “Benefit Day” will consist of live musical performances, dance performances, guest speakers, health programs and service booths, free food and give-a-ways. Produced by a collective of entertainers, educators, health professionals and area residents under Baath Party Entertainment LLC, “The Back To School Benefit Day,” is hoped to become an annual community event in New York City.

The Back To School Benefit’s mission is to empower the youth and the local communities in New York City. The Back to School Benefit Day will serve as a forum and resource to address and meet various needs of the community. This summer Baath Party Entertainment will be focusing on the Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn Community. Eventually, Baath Party Entertainment, LLC, through the Back To School Benefit will support students in honoring them will scholarships.

To make sure the event is a success, we are asking for the support of local business, community leaders and other professionals. Attached is a listing of options for supporters to insure the proper quality event.
