The third annual installment of this dynamic entertainment experience will be staged in Las Vegas on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 27 and 28, at Sam Boyd Stadium, encompassing the surrounding complex – highlighted by the 30-acre grassy Star Nursery Field with its stunningly beautiful mountain backdrop.
Two-day passes to the event will go on sale this Saturday at 10:00 AM PST only at www.vegoose.com
Known for setting the high standard in creating the perfect balance in eclectic programming for American festivals, Superfly and A.C. Entertainment have once again made Vegoose the ultimate fall season destination for live music fans.
Headlining the 2007 festival are Rage Against the Machine and Daft Punk. In addition, Iggy & the Stooges will be performing their classic album “Fun House” live in its entirety for the first time in the USA. Also confirmed are Muse, The Shins, Cypress Hill, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Queens of the Stone Age, Public Enemy, Blonde Redhead, Ghostface Killah & The Rhythm Roots Allstars, Umphrey’s McGee, Ghostland Observatory, Thievery Corporation, the Battles and more.
Referring to the evolution of the Vegoose lineup, Superfly’s Jonathan Mayers stated, “It’s really exciting for us to be able to bring acts like Rage and Daft Punk into the sphere of artists we present. With it being our third year in Vegas, we know how strongly these artists will connect with both the local fans and travelers looking to have an unforgettable music experience in a special environment.”
In addition to a stellar musical lineup, the festival will host a tantalizing array of other activities and attractions. Building on features from the past - such as the Impersonators Café, the Wedding Chapel, the Vegoose Cabaret and the Great Evil Pumpkin - organizers are planning even more tricks and treats for this year’s festival.
Augmenting the festival experience at Sam Boyd Stadium, Vegoose will also include Vegoose at Night, a series of separately ticketed indoor performances including the Shins, Thievery Corporation, STS9 and others – starting Friday evening, Oct. 26 and continuing late night on Saturday and Sunday – at such premier Vegas venues as the House of Blues, the Joint, and the Pearl.
The complete Vegoose at Night lineup will be announced in the coming weeks. These shows will go on sale in mid-August, with Vegoose ticket holders given the opportunity to purchase tickets first in an exclusive pre-sale.
