Reunited Van Halen possibly hitting the road this fall

Heavy metal rock icons and Hall of Fame members Van Halen almost joined the reunion wagon this summer with a tour, but cancelled when guitarist Eddie Van Halen checked into rehab. However, fans could see the band hit the road this fall.Billboard.com has reported arenas in major markets have been put on hold for potential Van Halen concert dates. If it happens, the tour would feature Eddie and Alex Van Halen with original singer David Lee Roth. The group would also be joined on stage by Eddie’s teenage son Wolfgang – who would play bass.The reunited Van Halen (minus Michael Anthony) was set to hit the road this summer for a 40-date tour. It would have been the first time the band had toured with Roth in more than 20 years. As tickets were getting ready to go on sale, the tour was cancelled due to Eddie checking into rehab for undisclosed reasons in March. None of the reunited Van Halen attended the ceremony when the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame – although former singer Sammy Hagar and former bass player Anthony were at the event. There has been no official word from Van Halen about a fall tour.
