Spice Girls' second World
Jun 28, 2007, 11:10 GMT

Former British girl band Spice Girls members (L-R) Victoria Beckham, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown gather for a photocall at the O2 Arena (formerly Millenium Dome) in East London to announce their reunion for an upcoming tour 28 June 2007. The Spice Girls are planning to re-release their movie 'Spice World' to coincide with their reunion.
The girl group - who are set to officially announce their comeback today (28.06.07) with a world tour, including dates in Los Angeles and London - want the movie back in cinemas to promote their upcoming concerts.
According to reports, the girls - Emma Bunton, Mel C, Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell and Mel B - don't want their reunion to be steeped in 90s nostalgia and are keen to attract a new generation of fans.
A source said: "They want this comeback to be the mother of all comebacks. They want today's kids to be swept up by Girl Power."
A new film, focusing on the hotly-anticipated reunion, is also being proposed.
The movie will be a mixture of documentary footage from the tour and scenes acted out by the five-piece.
Rumours of a Spice Girls reunion have been rife on the showbiz radar for months, with Victoria believed to be the driving force.

I've had it with all the Victoria Beckham haters out there. Yeah, maybe she doesn't have the best voice in the world but she's been off making the most of her other talents ie. fashion, which I respect instead of just sitting on her backside WAG style spending her hubbies earnings. At least she bothers to work and try doing something on her own. The only thing she does which has a bad image to young women out there is promoting her super skinny frame but then i'm not surprised by that either since the media used to have a field day out of slagging off her curves when she had them, i'd have slimmed down too. Personally, I like the fact that we have a BRITISH fashion icon, who isn't plastered over the papers for taking copious amounts of drugs all the time, doesn't use her children to get major amounts of publicity, isn't getting her breasts out for every lads mag out there every other week and who is a happily married successful career women in her own right. Maybe if people learnt to appreciate the positives in others instead of the negatives, attitudes might start to improve...
amen to that donna! vicky beckhams the only spice girl to make it on her own 2 feet. what a champ.

Vicky B may as well be the driving force in organising as she certainly cant be the driving force in singing.... I guess now that she's the richest [thanks to David]of the bunch she'll be telling everyone what to do and probably try to sing the lead and put the others in the background. Considering she couldn't even make a no. 1 record we all know where she should be don't we.
