Rock icon Neil Young has delayed the release of the first volume of his highly anticipated “Archive” series.
The first volume of the series was set to be released in the fall through the Reprise Records label, but the series has now been delayed until early in 2008.
The first volume of “Archives” is expected to include eight audio CDs and four DVDs. The set will be made up of unheard material – including some of Young’s early work with his Canadian band the Squires. There will also be recordings from Young’s time living in Topanga Canyon, Calif., and a live disc consisting of his performances at Toronto’s the Riverboat.
