Jun 6, 2007, 13:26 GMT
Los Angeles - Bucking the traditional music industry, former Beatle Paul McCartney released a new album Tuesday in 10,000 Starbucks stores worldwide.
The album, Memory Almost Full, is the first released by McCartney since splitting with his long-time record company EMI.
Starbucks Corp said it was playing the 13-song album in a continuous loop throughout its stores, where an estimated more than 6 million people would hear the CD.
In addition to the Starbucks stores, the album is on sale at all major music retailers and through Apple's iTunes online music store, making it the first of McCartney's 21 solo albums to be released digitally.

I really like this album. I feel like it starts kinda slow but it just takes off. Each song is so unique and so Paul that the experience is really good. The last track is really nice because it explains Paul's views on his songs and a little history of them.
