Cream reunion in the works?

Cream bassist Jack Bruce has said the iconic rock band could be joining the reunion wagon. In an interview with The Associated Press on Thursday, Bruce said he had agreed to join guitarist Eric Clapton and drummer Ginger Baker for one or more shows sometime this year.

However, fans won’t be able to get tickets just yet, and Bruce would not say when this reunion performance would happen. He said the performance won’t be at the global Live Earth concerts set for July 7th. Clapton and Baker have yet to confirm any talk of a reunion.The interview contradicted statements Bruce made to the Scotsman newspaper. In that interview, Bruce stated a reunion with the other members of Cream would not happen due to problems between the members. Baker and Bruce have a long history of disagreements, but the band did manage to reunite in 2005 (after 37 years). The reunion didn’t last long.
