Kelly Clarkson says feud with Clive Davis is overblown

The original “American Idol” Kelly Clarkson has downplayed her reported feud with music producer/icon Clive Davis and her label. She has also stated the issue is being overblown in the press.
Clarkson, 25, spoke with AP Television news about the reported feud with her label and stated the media has been exaggerating the "argument" that she had with Davis.
Rumors started hitting the Internet and news agencies that Davis disliked what he heard on Clarkson’s third studio album ‘My December.’ Early reports stated the album had been delayed indefinitely, but it is now expected to be released in July.
The singer, who won the title in the first edition of “American Idol” in 2002, has stated the album is “no different from my other records” and that her goal with it was to “have people like my music, come out to shows.”

Its amazing how many people are quick to bash singer/actors when they do new things or even do the same things. Its their job and its that simple. If you dont like their music then dont listen to it. To 'agree' with Davis is simply absurd, since everything that is being qouted as him saying is all rumors. Secondly, even if he did say it, he certianly isnt saying that he didnt like the first two albums she made. She is a marketing dream. She has made him millions and likewise herself. Atleast shes not as wacked out as some people who like to judge others. She is talented enough to be on his lable, so I am sure he is happy with her. Also, simplying saying that all her music is tribe is lame. I dont see you up there singing. I certianly know I cant sing that well, so to any of the artist that do make sing, I give them a pat on the back. It might not be in my taste, but I atleast acknowledge their talent, however big or small.

I don't blame Davis. I don't like anything from any of her albums. It's all bland tripe.
