Streisand sells out in the U.K.

Even with a hefty price tag, tickets for Barbra Streisand’s first British concert in 13 years sold out in minutes. Ticket costs for the best seats in the show were going for about 600 pounds ($1,200).

Streisand is scheduled to perform two evenings in July at London's O2 Arena (which used to be called the Millennium Dome), and the tickets went on sale to the public on Friday. This has also sold out."The diva has announced plans to donate some of the proceeds from her tour to The Streisand Foundation - which funds a variety of causes ranging from environment to civil rights. During the tour, she is expected to make stops in Paris, Vienna, Nice and Dublin.
