CMT has signed on as official sponsor of the “Stagecoach Music Festival,” the two-day country music extravaganza in Indio on Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6. CMT has agreed to support the festival across multiple platforms, including special episodes of CMT staples, including “CMT Top 20 Countdown” and a made-for-broadband series on CMT Loaded.
Onsite, CMT will maintain a highly visible presence through signage, rodeo activities and premium giveaways at the venue. On-air sweepstakes and promotions are already in rotation on CMT and CMT Radio Network preps.

As part of the sponsorship, CMT will provide a heavy promotional blitz across the network's multiple platforms to increase awareness of the first annual Stagecoach event. In addition to extensive promotion on CMT, CMT Pure Country and CMT Radio Network, the network will get exclusive backstage access for special episodes of CMT Top 20 Countdown” and “CMT Insider.” CMT.com has launched a dedicated microsite featuring artist lineup, ticket information and more. In addition, CMT.com's broadband channel, CMT Loaded, has launched made-for-broadband series “Wide Open Country,” “Video Replay,” and “Custom Built” which will run through the end of the festival.
The stellar lineup for the Festival includes George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, Sara Evans, Sugarland, Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, Pat Green, Lucinda Williams, Kris Kristofferson, Nickel Creek, Raul Malo, Ricky Skaggs and many more. Artists will perform on stages in four distinct areas at Empire Polo Field in Indio,CA, the same site as the revered Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival which is held the week prior.
