Erasure set for new album and “True Colors” tour with Cyndi Lauper
By Patrick Luce Apr 20, 2007, 1:25 GMT

‘Light at the End of the World’ is a potent return to classic, totally electronic Erasure form as last heard on 2005’s ‘Nightbird’ (Mute).
Erasure’s new album ‘Light at the End of the World’ will arrive on store shelves on May 22nd from Mute Records. The iconic British pop duo will also be hitting the road as part of the “True Colors” tour with Cyndi Lauper, Debbie Harry, The Gossip, Dresden Dolls, The Misshapes and more.
The multi-act “True Colors” tour is in support of the Human Rights Campaign. This 15-city nationwide tour, presented by Logo, kicks off Gay & Lesbian Pride Month on June 8th at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena and wraps-up June 30 in Los Angeles at the Greek Theatre.
Erasure - Andy Bell and Vince Clark – have sold more than 20 million albums worldwide. The first single off the new album is “I Could Fall in Love With You.” Coming after 2006’s ‘Union Street’ - an acoustic album of drastically rearranged lesser-known Erasure songs that was recorded with a full band and underlined the enduring quality of the material – ‘Light at the End of the World’ is a potent return to classic, totally electronic Erasure form as last heard on 2005’s ‘Nightbird’ (Mute).
‘Light at the End of the World’ is now available for pre-order at Amazon. Visit the music database for more information and a complete track listing. True Colors Tour Tickets are now available at M&C’s Ticket Database. True Colors dates include:
