Slash talks Guns N' Roses reunion

Getting ready to hit the road with Velvet Revolver for a U.S. tour, rock guitarist Slash has talked about a possible reunion with Guns N’ Roses and his wish that Revolver would stop playing songs from Guns and from Stone Temple Pilots.

In an interview with MTV’s Brazilian channel, Slash said that he wouldn’t be opposed to playing with the other members of Guns N’ Roses if it was just a few performances for “the fun of it.” He also said he wouldn’t mind seeing Revolver singer Scott Weiland performing with his former band Stone Temple Pilots.

Slash, who left Guns in 1996, told Chilean magazine Rock & Pop that he hoped Velvet Revolver would drop Guns and STP songs from the band’s setlist. The band has announced plans to hit the road on May 4th for a tour of the states. The tour is in support of their new album ‘Libertad’ – set for a July 3rd release. The first single from the album will be “She Builds Quick Machines.”
